Notes
The party left the Tavern, once outside, they followed the tracks left by the Sea Hag, which led them to the South East corner of the village, where it came to a dead end. Once they reached the wall, they noticed the train stopped there. Felna/Campaigns/The Curse of Thalendril/Player Characters/Satine decided to investigate the wall, and noticed her fingers went through. She turned to the party, and decided to backflip through the wall. It took Yag'Farad and Dafyyd Gwylim a while to realize that the wall could be crossed as if it weren't there.
On the other side of the wall, they encountered some ruins. Once Satine's Unseen Servant proved that the stairs leading to the entrance of the ruins, they entered. When they entered, they were greeted by some runes floating atop a table, which said: "Drink the green one to proceed." On the table laid 6 green cups with different color liquids. Felna/Campaigns/The Curse of Thalendril/Player Characters/Satine decided to try mixing the liquids to make green, and drank it, but nothing happened. It wasn't until the whole party drank from the green cups, that they were allowed through, and entered the Mage's HQ.
Once inside the Mage's HQ, the party decided to investigate, Yag'Farad found an interesting box, Cartographer's Map Case, upon inspecting it, it looked like an unique box for maps. He decided to keep it.
They decided to go explore the North Tower, but Felna/Campaigns/The Curse of Thalendril/Player Characters/Satine sent her Unseen Servant to test for traps. What a splendid idea, because it triggered a Fire Spray trap. Once the party investigated the trap, they found out it was a single use trap.
Once upstairs, the party encountered a bookshelf mimic. When defeated, it dropped some Mimic Adhesive, which Yag'Farad took, some rations, which was split around the party. They explored the area, they found some Potion of Healing, which they put in vials.
Then they encountered the Sea Hag that they were trailing. She was hiding under the North end table. She started attacking but Felna/Campaigns/The Curse of Thalendril/Player Characters/Satine and Dafyyd Gwylim managed to calm her down. Once calmed, the Sea Hag mentioned that she was trapped by the mages to produce unlimited water for the village.
Once they did that Darion showed up. He introduced himself, said things were wrong, and explained what happened to the village.
Long ago, the lead of the local mage's guild chapter, whose name has been lost to time, was experimenting with magic beyond anyone's understanding, and it got out of control. After it back firing, the other mages got tired of his experimentation, banded together, and as they were about to take his magic away, he did one final spell, which only summoned a horseman who's armor matches his horse's coat, who then cut the mage's head off, took a look at what was happening to the village, and surrounded the village with the walls, so nothing could come in, but more importantly, no one could get out.
After erecting the walls out of nowhere, the horseman rode away, never to be seen again. The Mage's Guild left in chaos, their leader decapitated, stuck inside the village, and with nothing to do.
They quickly organized, and found a way to make unlimited water, in order to provide for the village's survival. The decided to live within the village among the villagers, and not talk to anyone else about the incident. Slowly rising to power within the village, trying to control the villagers, and politics by establishing a tiered system, where they, and their descendants, would be the Highest class.
Once everything was decided, they put an illusion wall around the Mage's Guild, in order to protect it, it's contents, and anyone who may try to wander in, and it seemed to have worked, until you decided to meddle in, and now everything is at risk.
The party decided to head back to the village, and call it a night.
